Crypto casinos by country: where online play is legal
Whether you can use a crypto casino depends on where you live, not on the coin. Each country page sets out the legal status for residents, the regulator, the crypto rule and local help, checked against official or reliable sources.
We rank crypto casinos only for countries where offshore play is legal or clearly tolerated. Where online casinos are banned, or only local licences are allowed and enforced, the country page explains the rules without a ranking.
Short answer
Is crypto gambling legal in my country?
It depends on which of three models your country follows. A licensed market allows local licence holders only, and some, such as Ontario, rule out crypto by regulation. A grey market has no licence for offshore sites but does not prosecute players. A prohibition bans online casinos for everyone, in any currency.
Germany, Hungary, Bulgaria, Croatia, Argentina.
Canada outside Ontario and Alberta, Austria.
China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Brazil and others.

Crypto casinos by country FAQ
Are crypto casinos legal everywhere?
No. Some countries license local operators only, some leave offshore sites in a grey zone, and some ban online casinos outright. Check your country's page.
Does paying in crypto change whether gambling is legal?
No. Gambling law covers the activity, whatever the currency. Some countries also restrict crypto itself, such as China, or ban it for gambling payments, such as Australia.
Why do some country pages have no casino ranking?
We rank crypto casinos only where offshore play is legal or clearly tolerated. Where online casinos are banned or only local licences are allowed and enforced, the page explains the rules instead.
How often are the legal facts checked?
Each country page shows the date its facts were last checked and lists its sources. Laws change: Brazil and India both banned online casinos in 2026.
What if a casino accepts players from my country?
Accepting players is not the same as being licensed for your country. If the site is not licensed where you live, no local regulator can help with a held withdrawal, and a crypto deposit cannot be reversed.
