Issuer risk

A stablecoin casino lets you deposit and hold your balance in a dollar-pegged token such as USDT or USDC. A win or a loss is then measured in dollars, not in a coin whose price moves while you play.
Stablecoins remove market swings, not risk: the token depends on its issuer, and you still have to send it on a network the casino supports. For what stablecoins are, see our stablecoins guide; for casinos per coin, see the USDT and USDC casino pages.
Short answer
A crypto casino where you can deposit and play with a stablecoin, usually USDT or USDC, so your balance keeps its dollar value while you play. You avoid the price swings of bitcoin or ether, and you take on the risk that the issuer or the network fails you.
A $500 balance stays about $500 whatever bitcoin does.
The peg depends on the issuer's reserves.
Send on the same network the cashier lists, or the transfer can be lost.
Same topic, different page: our stablecoins guide explains the tokens; the USDT and USDC casino pages list casinos per coin.
Example
What happens to the dollar value of your balance if the market drops while you play. Illustration only; the house edge applies on top.
A stablecoin protects the balance, not the bets. It removes the market move; the house edge still applies to every wager.
| Balance held in | Value before | Value after a 10% fall | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bitcoin | $500 | $450 | You lose $50 without placing a bet. |
| Ether | $500 | $450 | Same exposure as bitcoin in this example. |
| USDT or USDC | $500 | About $500 | Market moves do not change the balance while the peg holds. |
Example figures in USD. Stablecoins can trade slightly above or below $1.
Risks
USDC briefly lost its peg on 11 March 2023 after Circle said $3.3 billion of its reserves sat at the collapsed Silicon Valley Bank; it recovered four days later. USDT briefly traded at $0.88 in October 2018.
USDT runs on several blockchains, including Ethereum (ERC-20) and TRON (TRC-20, since 2020). Sending on a network the casino does not list can lose the transfer.
A dollar balance makes losses easier to read, which can help you stick to a budget. It does not change the odds.

Checklist
A crypto casino that accepts dollar-pegged tokens such as USDT or USDC, so your balance keeps its dollar value while you play.
USDT and USDC are the most common. See the casinos per coin on our USDT casinos and USDC casinos pages.
Both track the dollar. USDT is issued by Tether and USDC by Circle, with different reserve reporting. What matters most at the cashier is which one and which network the casino supports.
It depends on the casino, not the coin. See no-KYC casinos for how ID checks work.
Our stablecoins guide explains how they work and how pegs are kept.
Yes, briefly. USDC lost its peg for a few days in March 2023 and USDT dipped to $0.88 in October 2018. Do not treat a stablecoin as a bank deposit.
They remove price swings, not casino risk. Licence, terms and payout record matter just as much as with any other coin.
