Is crypto gambling legal in Vietnam?
Short answer
No, it can be a crime
Article 321 of the Penal Code punishes illegal gambling with fines or prison depending on the stake. Gambling over the internet is an aggravating factor that carries 3–7 years in prison and an extra fine of up to VND 50 million. Vietnamese players may gamble only at casinos in the government pilot, in person.

No. Online gambling is illegal and the player can face criminal charges under article 321 of the Penal Code. Crypto gives no cover: the new crypto rules recognise digital assets for a licensed, VND-based market, not for payments to casinos.
