Burned for energy unless you stake TRX.
USDT keeps your casino balance in dollars while you pay over crypto rails. The choice that changes what a deposit costs is the network: on 6 Oct 2026 the same transfer cost under a cent on Solana or Polygon and about $2.16 on TRON.
Below are the casinos we list that take Tether, the networks side by side with sourced fees, and the steps that stop a transfer going to the wrong chain.
Short answer
Solana and Polygon, if the casino accepts them: one USDT transfer cost well under a cent on 6 Oct 2026. Ethereum cost about five cents at that day's low gas price. TRON cost about $2.16, because a USDT transfer needs energy and an account without staked TRX pays for it by burning TRX.
5,000 lamports per signature
about 72,000 gas at 259 gwei, in POL
63,221 gas at 0.275 gwei
64,285 energy burned; $4.37 to an address that never held USDT
Use the network the casino's cashier names. USDT sent on one network to an address on another usually does not arrive.
Worked example Example data
What one USDT deposit cost to send on 6 Oct 2026, with sources. Try your own amount in the calculator.
The fee is per transfer, not per dollar. A $20 deposit over TRON lost about 11% to the network fee; the same deposit over Solana lost almost nothing.
Burned for energy unless you stake TRX.
Final after two epochs, about 13 min.
Small, frequent top-ups are where the network matters. Over TRON, five $20 deposits cost about $10.80 in fees; one $100 deposit costs $2.16.
Keep a little TRX, ETH, SOL or POL in the sending wallet for the fee, and send a test amount first.
Indicative snapshot, 6 Oct 2026. TRON: 64,285 energy (130,285 to a new holder) × 100 sun energy price (TronGrid chain parameters; measured on recent USDT transfers). Ethereum: 63,221 gas for a USDT transfer to a fresh address × 0.275 gwei (eth_gasPrice). Solana: 5,000 lamports per signature (solana.com/docs/core/fees). Polygon PoS: 72,008 gas × 259 gwei (eth_gasPrice). Prices: CoinGecko. Casino minimums and withdrawal fees come on top.
Volatility Example data
Holding the bankroll in USDT removes price risk from the session. Holding it in BTC, ETH or SOL adds a second bet on the price.
| Held in | Price move | Bankroll after | Change | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tether (USDT) | 0% | $500 | $0 | Stayed between $0.9993 and $1.0000 in the 30 days to 6 Oct 2026. |
| Bitcoin, −10% | -10% | $450 | −$50 | A 10% dip costs as much as the expected loss on $5,000 of 1%-edge dice bets. |
| Solana, −9% | -9% | $455 | −$45 | SOL's largest fall from a high in the same 30 days, on daily prices. |
| Ether, +10% | +10% | $550 | +$50 | A gain, and the same move in reverse costs as much. |

How to deposit
TRON addresses start with T, Ethereum and Polygon addresses with 0x. Polygon and Ethereum addresses look the same, so the network you pick in the wallet must match the cashier.
Coin vs coin
| Coin | Price | Issuer | Risk to know |
|---|---|---|---|
| USDT | Tracks $1 | Tether | The issuer can freeze tokens at an address. |
| USDC | Tracks $1 | Circle | Fell to about $0.87 on 11 Mar 2023 before recovering. |
| BTC | Floats | None (protocol) | Your bankroll moves with the price. |
| ETH | Floats | None (protocol) | Price risk like BTC, and ERC-20 fees rise with gas. |

Fee patterns
What it means: On TRON, batch small top-ups into one transfer or use another network the casino accepts.
Fees from the network table above divided by $20. Withdrawal fees are set by each casino and are not included.
Terms
The one the casino's cashier names for USDT, and the cheapest of those it accepts. On 6 Oct 2026 Solana and Polygon cost under a cent per transfer, Ethereum about five cents and TRON about $2.16.
A USDT transfer runs a smart contract, which uses energy. An account without staked TRX pays for that energy by burning about 6.4 TRX, or about 13 TRX when the receiving address has never held USDT. A plain TRX transfer only uses bandwidth, and TRON gives every account 600 free bandwidth points a day.
The funds usually do not reach the casino balance. Whether the casino can recover them is its decision, and some charge for it or refuse. Always send a small test amount first.
USDT removes price swings while you play, but you rely on Tether keeping its reserves and on the casino holding your balance. Tether can also freeze USDT at an address. Keep only what you plan to play with at a casino.
Many do at some point, often at withdrawal or above a set amount. The ranking shows what each casino states; check its terms before you deposit.
Both track the dollar. USDT also runs on TRON, which many casinos offer for it. USDC is issued by Circle and is no longer issued on TRON, so check the network list before you choose.
