The edge decides the cost, the target does not
What it means: compare the edge between casinos before anything else; it is the only number that changes your average cost.
Crypto dice draws a number from 0.00 to 100.00. You choose a target and win if the roll lands on your side; the multiplier follows from your win chance and the casino's edge, so the whole game fits in one formula.
Below: what each setting costs, a calculator for your own session and a worked provably fair example you can recompute in the browser.
Short answer
At a 1% edge you lose $1 per $100 wagered on average, whatever target you pick. The target only changes how often you win and how big each win is. A lower win chance means rarer, larger wins at the same long-run cost.
Set by the target number and the side, over or under.
At a 1% edge; a 49.5% chance pays 2x.
Shown in the game's info panel; 1% is a common setting.
Changing the target never makes dice cheaper. Only a lower edge or fewer bets does.
Average cost per $100 wagered at a 1% edge, on every target.
The multiplier at a 1% edge; at a 2% edge it is 98 ÷ win%.
At a 1% win chance, about one player in three goes 100 bets without a single win.
Each bet uses the next nonce, so every roll can be recomputed from the seed pair.
Rules
Autobet repeats the same bet many times a minute. Set a stop-loss before you start it.
House edge and RTP
At a 1% edge, RTP is 99% on every setting. What changes is how often you win.
The cost per bet is fixed by the edge; the target only moves the swings.
| Win chance | Multiplier | RTP | Cost per $100 bet | No win in 100 bets | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 49.50% | 2.0000x | 99.00% | $1.00 | <0.01% | many small wins and losses. |
| 25.00% | 3.9600x | 99.00% | $1.00 | <0.01% | wins one bet in four on average. |
| 10.00% | 9.9000x | 99.00% | $1.00 | <0.01% | losing streaks of 20 or more happen. |
| 2.00% | 49.5000x | 99.00% | $1.00 | 13.3% | 100 bets without a hit is common. |
| 1.00% | 99.0000x | 99.00% | $1.00 | 36.6% | a lottery ticket at the same 1% cost. |
Computed at a 1.00% house edge, a common setting; each casino states its own edge in the game rules.
Calculator
Multiplier = (100 − edge) ÷ win chance
(100 − 1) ÷ 49.50 = 2.00x
Expected loss = bets × stake × edge
100 × $1.00 × 1% = $1.00
No win in 100 bets = (1 − p)^100: 0.0%
Low win chances do not cost more on average; they cost the same and arrive in bigger, rarer lumps. The number of bets is what grows the expected loss.
Provably fair Example data
A common scheme used by seed-based dice. Each casino documents its own variant on its fairness page.
The casino fixed the server seed before you chose your client seed, so it could not pick results after seeing your bets.
That the casino will pay a withdrawal, that the edge is low, or that third-party slots are fair.

Patterns and exceptions
What it means: compare the edge between casinos before anything else; it is the only number that changes your average cost.
What it means: size each bet so your budget survives a run of 100 losses at low win chances.
Chance of no win in 100 bets = (1 − win chance)^100. Computed, not measured.
Method
What we read before a casino appears in the list above.
We read the house edge or RTP the casino states for its dice game and whether the payout table is published.
We check that the casino documents its provably fair scheme and lets you set your own client seed and rotate the server seed.
We note the licence the casino states and read the bonus terms for game weighting and maximum bets.
We list the coins the casino accepts and the identity checks it states for withdrawals.
We check for deposit limits, loss limits and self-exclusion you can set yourself.
Crypto originals are built in-house, so each casino chooses its own edge and payout table. We read them from the game's info panel instead of marketing copy.
We may earn a commission when you sign up through our links. It does not change the maths on this page.
Glossary
Each casino sets it and shows it in the game info. 1% is a common setting, which makes the multiplier 99 ÷ win chance.
None. At a fixed edge every target has the same RTP. A high win chance gives steadier results, a low one gives rarer, larger wins.
No. Betting systems change the size and timing of wins and losses, not the average cost per bet. Martingale-style doubling hits the table maximum or your budget sooner or later.
It proves the casino did not change a result after you bet. It does not lower the house edge, and it says nothing about whether the casino pays withdrawals. See our provably fair casinos for how casinos document it.
Any coin the casino accepts plays the same game. A stablecoin such as USDT keeps your balance steady in dollars while you play; a volatile coin adds its own price swing on top of the game's. Network fees differ by chain, see USDT casinos and stablecoins.
It depends on where you live. Many crypto casinos hold an offshore licence and are not licensed in your country. Check local law before you play, and remember crypto deposits cannot be reversed.
